Kilguilkey International

We made the trip down to Cork with Ardeo Arctic Wolf for his first FEI event in the CCI2*-S at Kilguilkey International. He was impeccably behaved throughout. We arrived with time for a nice leg stretch before tacking up heading over for the dressage. The dressage judges had split opinions on him after a positive accurate test leaving him midfield heading into the show jumping. He  jumped so well showing his flashy technique around the course. Salt settled into his stable and tucked him into bed. He has such a personality and is so fun to be around! We had

Tattersalls International Horse Trials and Country Fair

Ardeo Brigadier, affectionately known as Max, ran at his first international in the CCIYH2*L with Mel. it was my first time at Tatts and certainly lived up to expectation. Tattersalls is a stunning venue and great to have the horses in permanent stables. From our stable we could keep an eye on the trot up watching the different outfits! Max also kept a look out on the trot up, learning how to strut his stuff on the catwalk! Max was plaited, toes painted and made to sparkle ready for his turn on the cat walk. He looked fantastic. He jumped suberbly at two more recent Grand prixs, Barnadown Showjumpers Club and Mullingar Equestrian Spring Tour held by Showjumping Ireland. He showed his talent and ability around the tracks as well as his easy nature. We were so pleased with his performance making all the distances look easy and jumping.

We were so pleased with him, jumping a foot perfect double clear and galloping around a testing track into 6th place. As the season has progressed Salt has gone from strength to strength, to finish 2nd in the EI110 on a dressage score of
