Ardeo Sport Horses is situated in a newly built state-of-the-art facility located at Mount John, Newcastle, Co. Wicklow. Nestled on 21 acres of lush green countryside, the facility boasts over 12,000 native Irish trees (planted as part of the “Trees on the land” initiative), in the heart of the “Garden of Ireland”. Despite the serene surroundings, the facility is conveniently located just off the N11 and within close proximity to all major international transport links, including Dublin Airport – only a 45-minute drive away.

Ardeo’s facilities include a laser-level flat, fully irrigated 40m x 60m arena with superb footing year-round, state-of-the-art American-style barn, covered walker, covered lunge pen, multiple grass paddocks and an all-weather cross country schooling course.

Our outdoor cross-country playground, which features a water, bank, and ditch complexes, was designed in collaboration with William Micklem and constructed by renowned cross-country builder Tony McMenamin. The intelligent design provides an almost limitless combination of options to test horse and rider.
