We recently welcomed the Equine Young Breeders to Ardeo Sport Horses for a training day. It was a pleasure to provide the space and a selection of horses for the group to engage with throughout the day.

The focus of the session was on assessing conformation and athleticism traits as they relate to rideability and performance in  sport. The young breeders had the opportunity to observe, discuss, and develop their eye for quality in a practical, hands-on setting.

The day also offered a chance to share insights into the business model behind Ardeo Sport Horses. We really enjoyed the thoughtful questions and conversations that came from the group’s interest in all aspects of producing and sourcing sport horses.

A big thank you to the organisers, Philip Scott and Wendy Conlon and to everyone who attended. It’s always encouraging to see the next generation investing in their education and passion for horses—we were glad to be a small part of that journey.
